Terms
By using FastFingers you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
Play fair
- Type with your own hands. No bots, scripts, macros, pasting, or tools that type for you.
- Use one account. Don't try to get around rate limits or the score checks.
- Scores are checked automatically and may be removed if they look wrong. Accounts that cheat can be removed from leaderboards or deleted.
Names and profiles
Pick a name that isn't offensive, doesn't pretend to be someone else, and doesn't advertise anything. Names that break this may be changed or removed.
The texts
Stories and quotes come from books in the public domain, mostly via Project Gutenberg. Wikipedia text is shared under CC BY-SA 4.0 and each passage links to its article. Text you paste in custom mode stays in your browser and your own account.
No warranty
FastFingers is free and provided as is. It may change, have downtime, or stop. We aren't liable for lost results or anything else arising from using it, as far as the law allows.
Changes
These terms may change; the date below shows the latest version. See also the privacy page.
